Feeling So Frustrated

Ok I am throwing my hands in the air with complete frustration. I have a kid who is completely unmotived by anything. I mean there is nothing that I can find that will get them to want to work for it. We have simple basic chores around the house to do and I can not get them to do them or to behave when they are not being babysat. I just don't know what to do anymore. Makes me feel like a complete failure as a mom that I can not seem to figure this out. Venting in now over.

I hate having to tell my kids what to do so my kids made up CHOCOLATE BAR CHORE TIME. they come to me to say "chocolate bar chore please" every time they are don with a task I gave them. they get a chocolate bar for dessert later. If they get whiny or dropout beffre I am satisfied with their work i will firethem. Tara's right that different things work for our kids but having the kidsask me what they cando for me works so well for us. Thisis just oncea wk and outside of the chore chart. Itsso fun try it! (Sometimes I HAve made the choc bars and put oat bran or wheat grm in it.)

My 5 year is still sogreat, I GIve her 5 min to fix or clean something and come bck to check her work. She never wants me to give her a thumbs down so she does a great job quickly. it's so cute. More ideas are great.
